I agree. People who complain about Froch's work rate are deluded. Froch matches the rate of his opponent.

If Bute fights fast so will Froch, if Bute fights slow so will Froch. A fast fighter might land more punches but will leave himself wide open for one of Froch's bombs.
I think you both might be underestimating Bute somewhat - its a great match of high flying prospects and for my money the transplanted romanian's superior fundamentals would see him win.

Not certain of that pick but I know its a fight we would all love to see (and therefore is also destined to be one we never will - thats boxing!)

Bute is fighting an froch's ex-opponent .. and froch is fighting bute's last opponent the same night, possible fight during summer ?
Interesting...Froch vs Bute. I'd expect both guys to have their moments but I'd go for Bute by decision, love to see it.

Bute would beat Froch up, he's far too textbook to go walking into Froch's flashy unorthodox counters.

Your right Bute is aText book fighter,Too Text Book!
Do you think Froch could just not box with Bute?
He could if he wanted.
That's my point, Froch can work outside the Norm,
Bute's is just so ordinary, what is the big deal?
A slick southpaw with average power and has not faced one puncher at the top of his game. Froch has no problem with boxers and no problem with power punchers. I say he stops the Russian 8th round !
Bet on it!

Are you sure you're thinking of the right guy? Bute is Romanian and alough a southpaw I wouldn't describe him as slick, he's more of a Calzaghe type.

I like Froch but I'd take Bute in this one, hope the fight gets made.

Definitely a southpaw flurry fighter in the Calzaghe mould. Even seems to have a similar stance to Calzaghe, similar way of leaning into shots. But Bute seems able to put some real weight behind his shots. Takes a lot to make Salem quit. Bute is slick but can be pretty destructive as well.
