Jennings has fitness, stamina and speed in abundance, and I don't think he's got a glass jaw.

I think his chin is iffy and this, coupled with his ability to getting caught with silly punches (i.e. when he moves back in a straight line) makes him fairly vulnerable against somebody who'll probably be physically stronger.

I believe Jennings has been able to tee off with fast combinations of punches because he's mostly fought physically weaker opponents.

I believe a points loss to Daniel Santos and a KO of Anthony Farnell beats a points loss to Young Muttley and a points win over Bradley Pryce.

jennings lost was contrversial and takaloo got beat widely by santos even though i agree santos is a world operator.since bein beat by jennings,pryce has beat ossie duran and facey who are good fighters.so i wud say jennings win against pryce is better than takaloos against farnell who never beaten anyone half decent though he did have a big heart

I'll agree with you that Jennings' win over Pryce was better than Takaloo's over Farnell, if you agree that the'WBU World Title' (Farnells') is worth less than a British or Commonwealth title (I.E. Pryce. Mutley).

Any idea how well Jennings handled Farnell in sparring?

i havent got a clue caster.but the last time they sparred would have been 2001 just before the takaloo fight because farnell left brian hughes camp after that.jennings was a nice boxer then but has improved alot since then and is vastly stronger whereas i think takaloo isnt the force he once was.but all questions will be answered come fight night

any chance somebody could post Takaloo's biggest fights?

Heard that one of Tak's sparring partners who's sparred both men says Tak's far the better fighter in sparring and much stronger than Jennings.

Sparring's sparring though isn't it and Tak's always been a good gym fighter.

I've gone for jennings - I am a bit biased since he trained at my old amateur club(but he'd turned pro before I started there) but also you have to remember jennings could well be undefeated - I thought he nicked the Mutley fight. I've been a fan of Tak over the years - his ko's over farnell,dixon,logan and that irish pink panther fella who name alludes me(waIt..JIM ROCK!) were all very entertaining BUT he has a tendency to load up on his shots making him a bit predictable. Also, sometimes his workrate lets him down - whilst jennings never stops throwing punches and I'd say is the more fleet of foot and the better boxer. Tak's always got the power but jennings on points for me.

i was in the gym last week peter mc donagh was sparring tak he looked in good shape fit sharp good sparring 8)

I think Jennings wins a moderate decision........

Why Takaloo Is making Welter when he was never a natural one I dunoo.

a KO loss to a perfect Wayne Alexander shot and the early KO loss when he got knackered..... I say he has a very good chin.... More than enough to absorb Jennings best unless the weight making was a little too much

I don't think Tak's chin is questionable, but his face tends to mark up very easily, and with Jennings being a pretty accurate puncher - I for see a few cuts and bruises for Takaloo.

I'm still sticking with a points win for Jennings.

Jennings is the beter boxer of the two, and Takaloo tends to leave himself open when throwing wide power shots...I think Jennings will pick him apart time and time again.
