He got the shoulder injury from missing Byrd, the same way Quitali and Williamson injured their shoulders against Byrd. It says a lot about Holyfield's courage that he continued to fight and try to win with that injury, while Quitschko, a much, much larger fighter, ran away from Byrd and finally quit.
Yeah, agreed. There's also the Moorer fight where Evander also fought with a hurt shoulder and with heart troubles.
