No, because nobody cares about being called a honky, who the hell is insulted by the term honky? Not me, and I'm one.

Come on Overhand, I'm no PC, leftwing tree hugging, cardigan wearing, Nazi but 'spade' is a blatant racist comment.

Yes but i believe my comment is an worthwhile talking point, anytime we hear some ultra sensitive white middle class liberals forced indignity over some throwaway allegedly racist comment. Hope that doesn't make me sound like some scheming neo-nazi though.
In this specific case if you read the guys other 5 posts he is clearly sub-normal and not to be threatened by.

I asked my blk gf about that. She said Blk people don't use the word honky they may use the term cracker, and I'd imagine a more educated blk person may disaprove if they used it.
On some message boards if you write 'I like creem crackers', it will come up as 'I like creem ********'

I understand what you are saying and basically agree with you. I am a Civil Servant and work in an at times ultra PC enviroment, which does my head in trust me. I also live in Leicester which is extremely multi-cultural. Often at work as a white, working class, straight male I sometimes feel like the outsider.
However that doesn't stop me thinking that the work 'spade' used in the way it was in this thread should be tolerated, anywhere, by anyone.

So basically we can't 'call a spade a spade'
(don't take that as being racist, I just wanted to use the phrase as a play on words)

Another 3 I think.

hahah me too. A true Misanthropist.
Back to subject - the mayweathers are severe idiots. And I'm not sure winding up Oscar is the right tactic - he fights best when he hates the opposition. HE is too experienced and professional to fight wildly because of the wind ups.
I didn't realise Roger was such a twat - I used to like him as a fighter.... but now just think he's a total tool....

Seems like PBF has got everyone rooting for DLH but does all of this bullshit really push up the PPV earnings?

Miners wives used to say (when we had mines) my old man comes home black as the ace of spades - Calling a spade a spade means being blunt and straight with no fancy talking - Neither expression is racist but the remark made on here most definately was and if it was dismissed without a warning it could lead to even worse - Anyway to move onto boxing - The Mayweathers dont seem to be the nicest of people so its not all an act Floyd being the bad guy - DLH seems pretty OK in front of the camera but I havent got a clue what sort of person he is in everyday life - Needle matches do seem to sell tickets and so does pre fight hype so its pretty likely most of it is just staged for building the fight up - Quite honestly the golden chicken and calling DLH the golden girl made me laugh but it gets the Yanks going so its probably a money maker - This promises to be one hell of a fight with both boxers having tremendous skills and durability - I cant see it going all 12 rounds but if it did Mayweather would win on points - I think we will see a real upset with DLH landing one of his bombs around 7 or 8 with Mayweather ahead on points - A finale in true Rocky tradition that will only add to his already legendary status - I think too many people have written DLH off and consider him as the underdog but with all that experiance I believe he will strike when he is least expected to and get the win - Pretty sure we will see a gripping fight with neither man taking it easy at any time. Definately the fight of the century but with less than 7 years gone there will be others with names we have not yet heard of.

I am no fan of the Mayweathers antics but bringing the Chicken on stage was no worse than Muhammad Ali with his rubber Gorilla, "Come on Gorilla this is a thrilla" routine.
