As long as he isn't too hindered by injury I fancy him to reach a final in one of the them and that will mean he will give Hamilton a close run.

not sure about a final for murray this year.

i can't see it happening at the french or wimbledon.

his best chance is at the US, but i still doubt it for this year.

No way was she ill at Athens 2004, she realised she wasnt getting in the medals and quit. Simple as that. Now im not dismissing her achievements, because she has done a lot to raise the profile of long-distance running and athletics in general in this country, but she is a money runner.

She has lost her hunger to run for the glory, she is now hungry only for money. Well, thats how i read the matter. I may very well read the situation wrongly.

She pulled out of the Worlds in 2005(or it may have been two years previously) with some "problems". I dont think it was the last one as she may have been pregnant - or was that the Commonwealths.

It'll be interesting to see what work they've done on his fitness during this recent break since the Davis Cup, coming into Grand Slam time.

Murray looks well capable of beating anyone on his day and early on in the tournaments but just seems to struggle to hold it together for 2 weeks. His match with Nadal in the Oz open was one of the best games I've ever seen, it was out of this world.

I reckon he can do it this year to be honest, he's won a couple of good ATPs now, the main difference with them is they are 3 sets and only a week long. Just needs to get that stamina up and he's ready now..

She was devastated at pulling out in Athens! So much so she had another go at the 10,000 only 5 days later when she clearly wasn't ready for it.

Radcliffe did win Gold in Helsinki in 2005 by the way, I remember because it was seen as some kind of vindication for what happened the year previous.

She is hanging around in the sport to compete in Bejing in 2008 when she will be 35 years old and now a mother because she wants to make up for what happened in 2004 and you say she is only a money runner?!!!!
