Dont worry- Taylors Stay of Execution is at an end. The public cant stomach anymore fumbling with welterweights attempting to gift him a kayo. Kelly Pavlik, a hard hitting middle, will spark him out and end all this nonsense.

I think Pavlik can fight a cleverer fight than he did against Miranda, he has got good boxing skills as well... but really does he have to fight different to beat Taylor?... I dont think so really, Pavlik showed he has great power and a cast iron chin, if he fights the way he did against Miranda against Taylor I can see him simply overwhelming Taylor... I just dont think Taylor would have the stomach to go to war like Miranda did and he probably hasnt got as good a chin as Miranda, I actually think some of Spinks shots pulled him up a bit in their fight.... maybe thats the secret of his negativeity, ....maybe he doesnt take a shot too good?... he certainly doesnt like taking shots...

what is Taylor going to do? He suggested money rather than respect is his priority. Now, if he gets $6m for welters, what does he expect for Pavlik? $8m?
It seems that he's less of a draw in the South as he'd like to be as well. The Fed Ex wasn't exactly full.
Anyone think he'll maybe fight Roy Jones, then Pavlik at the end of the year?

Pavlik-Miranda was absolutely sensational. I was struggling to decide what a admired more.... Pavlik's relentless onslaught or Miranda's courage under fire.
Whatever happens to Pavlik from here onwards, this fight will be talked about for some time to come and that's a nice way to make your own personal mark on the sport. I know this will be one of those fights I'll watch over and over.

I should think that Taylors paymasters will demand that he fight Pavlik sooner rather than later, and as he's already number 1 contender I dont see how Taylor can get out of the fight...
