allegedly and Sportsnetwork will appear somewhere, problem is Warren has to pay a lot of money for Calzaghe in his next fight, will Setanta want to pay up after spending a fair amount on Ricky Hatton and Fight Academy.

ITV I am told have offered something but are going to exercise quality control.

Sky, they desperately need a PPV star Froch and Haye are not quite ready. But will they want anyone dictating to them?

BBC, it will be a major shock if they were to stump up massive cash, yes buying delayed highlights is within their budget but big shows for big money?

Why does Sky want a PPV star for? This ain't America and Sky ain;t HBO.

I agree with Stu's post, being unhappy with some shows doesn't mean that there going to dump Warren.

Sky will only do boxing on a fight by fight basis which is best. The next two card by sportnetwork are good. Jennings v minter is a good fight my only problem its for wbu title!!!

Well they MIGHT dump Warren, but they won't dump Boxing.... Well at least they shouldn't given that its CAN still (as shown) be ratings and mainstream again if the RIGHT FIGHTS are made and shown.

Warren was earning a lot of money as a boxing consultant for sky when he signed his deal. If he would do a fight by fight deal sky would snap him up. Its about quality how was Manefredo v Calzaghe a good bill? Itv obviously did not like.

if it had drawn good #s i'll bet ITV would have liked it. then again, if most warren shows weren't manufacTURD, obvious mismatches and glorified sparring sessions the ratings would easily have been better.

i think mr warren's answering for it all now. i'll bet he's had a very shaky time of recent, with itv pissed off. he's doing weird out of character things which makes me believe that the blood pressure and stress level is way up.

I hope so, cause he's been making my blood pressure go up for years!... 8) ...and not through the 'excitement' (hahahha!) of his shows either!!...

They should pull a showtime and just contract really good fights instead of having contracts with stables like Warren. That would force him to have to put on good fights if he wanted air time and open up the doors to other really good fights with other fighters.

I also think promoters shouldnt be able to manage fighters either... then they would concentrate on getting the good fights together rather than protecting their fighters!!... I think this is a crucial problem in boxing today, especially in Britain...

Dean Powell, as SN matchmaker, has to carry the can for that stinker.

Funny thing is that lads from Dean's area of Tipton (a real boil on the arse of the west midlands) usually love a good, hard fight!
