He went up in weight, wasn't as effective at welter, still beat Collazo (just) and came down again....

I suspect the same, but I believe it would depend on the manner of defeat, if he lost a close decision against any of those men, I think he would go for a rematch, if he was beaten comprehensively or bashed up, then I think Ricky might well call it a day.

I think that once Hatton's desire starts to wane, he will jack it in. He's got two more years when he should be at his peak, let us hope he makes the best of it, but let's not forget, he's already exceeded most people's expectations of him coming up.

I think Hatton would take Cotto and lose to the other two, they'd box his head off.

I didn't doubt he won as I had It 114 113 to Hatton thanks to his 1st round knockdown.

But he lacked defence against a southpaw and relied on workrate too much, that was his problem.

It's a lesson learned, and I agree that his lifestyle outside the ring will catch up with him soon, especially if he carries on past 30....
