Khan is no mare than a prospect at the moment. He has only fought hand fed opponents up til now (which is fair enough considering he's just starting out) but I am starting to worry about his chin coz Warren wont let anyone with even half a dig go near him (do they know something about his chin that we dont??? )

Anyway, Limond has been a very carefully selected opponent. His name will certainly be the best on Khan's resume but to be fair to Willie he is a natural Superfeather and has also been fairly inactive these past couple of years, not to mention the fact he is not known for his power either (again I point out the Khan chin theory :-? )

All in all I reckon Khan should win tonight but I hope he wins properly instead of throwing a flurry of shots that either miss or land on Willies guard and the trigger happy ref steps in (eg. Calzaghe v Manfredo)

Getting back to the topic though...I reckon Khan would have a lot more people behind him if he was to learn to keep his gob shut and stop sounding like an arrogant cocky little kid. He keeps stating he is on course to beat Naz's record and become the youngest ever World Champ out of the UK but in order to achieve that goal he would need to win a world title before May 2008 as thats when he reaches the age Naz was and quite frankly I reckon there's more of a chance of Ali making a return that that happening.(or in a nutshell....he's got no chance)

He is always calling out his fellow Brits ..John Murray, Kevin Mitchell John Thaxton etc and claiming they are avoiding him :-?

He needs to remember that these guys have all earned their reps and if he was put in with any of them at this moment in time he'd likely lose badly. (Murray accepted his offer and asked him to fight on the Oscar v PBF undercard but his silence was deafening)

Just keep your head down Amir and concentrate on your training instead of trying to run around like some sort of circus act celeb.

ps. A win for Limond tonight would certainly no upset imo.

One thing I have noticed doing my interviews with Kevin Buckley and Anthony Crolla, plus reading the piece in BN about Ian Wilson, is the level of respect for the young lads have for their fellow prospects..

Khan however comes across like a little fake Naz who I want to see smashed up. Ive heard hes a great lad but his public image is terrible!

It would be nice to be able to get behind our prospects, to share in their triumphs, to actually feel good for them, I just cant with Khan..

I will be on the John Murray bandwagon for the forseeable future methinks

I can't see how Murray has progressed in the last 2 years either. Khan v Murray at this stage would be a good choice.

It is going to be very interesting in Khan's next fight, will he be gun shy in fear of being tagged, will he fight in the future with a lot more caution and with that caution will it be enough to take him to titles?

Murray would crush Kahn in a 12 round fight
Murray has a Pro style
He would break Kahn down

Kahn was such the little shit talker a few months back
I would love to see Murray or Thaxton bring that kid back to Earth.

I really liked Kahn when he started
Seemed like a good kid
But his mouth just turned me
Insulting real pro's ("There not in my league, better fight me now, I am World Champ in a year"-LOOK AT ME NEW WATCH!!!!!)
They all stepped up
Murray said bring it on
Thaxton said lets do it
Guess we wont see those fights anytime soon

Perhaps a fight with Ricky Burns could be on the cards. Burns is not a banger but he certainly has talent (he was a but scared to throw against Johanssen though, dunno why) and im sure he could step up in weight which would give Khan an even softer puncher lol

I reckon Burns would outpoint him though coz he might not be a banger but he can box when he's on song and he has a great chin too.

Khan would be the bomb...if he had a chin and a defense and brain. Actually I am being a little unfair here as I dont know if does have the cleverness to box to his strenghts.. I have never really seen him in a situation where he has to box clever.. though he did seem to survive one has to wonder if he had been against a real puncher what would have happened....

I hope it isnt too much of a setback for him and he can recover, he is good for brits and boxing in Britain.. Persoanlly I dont read much boxing news so dont know about his trash talking.. but how many 19/20 year olds can handle fame and celebrity culture being forced on them the way he has had it thrust on him? It' bound to go their heads a little.... Better now than later I guess to learn the hard lessons.

Thats just it mate..... he's not handled it, instead he has became a cocky loud mouth who claims he is able to face anyone in his division.

Limond is not even a full time fighter, he's a joiner during the day and is known as a fighter with very little power but decent fairly skills.

Khan has speed but he doesnt know how to utilise. As for him being a good boxer, I havnt seen any evidence of it to date......especially in the defence dept.
