Looks like those plans will be scratched as its been moved to Doncaster so a Siddique fights unlikely, wonder when that lads going to step up hes been a pro for 5years, still taking your time hasn't hurt ReesTerry D wrote:Yeah, over snake pass I think. I will try and cover for a site or buy a ticket off one of the fighters, Nadeem Siddique is the Golden Boy, nice guy also and I said if he fights in Bradford I'll be there.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:If you make it to the fight we'll definately have to have a drink.Terry D wrote: I hope to be there, to watch Golden Boy Sid if he is on the card, I'll shout you a beer![]()
Witter's prior fights aside this one should really be a good test for Witter. If he is overrated and/or his reflexes are gone it could be a win for Harris but if Harris is overrated and/or the Maussa fight showed this a little in his attitude Witter could get a big win.
Given his long arms and 1-2 then work off that style I think Harris will provide an interesting test.
A win for Witter and I will be the first to hold my hands-up and say "well done" but with that said I think Hatton is onto bigger and better fights at this stage. At one point I think it was poor for them not to be fighting and I blamed Hatton but you have to give Hatton credit, he moved on from Witter a fair few years ago.
Max, I cannot for the life of me fathom your first sentence. I hear you about the poverty one thoughIs it just a drive over the pennines for yourself?
I'm really looking forward to this 1 and I think it is a very intriguing match up and a genuine 50-50 between 2 genuine world class fighters and the sort of fight that I'm lucky is local to me. From my perspective its good Witters not famous and popular because of this was in Las Vegas I wouldn't be seeing it. I don't think either are overated although both have faults.
Harris is pretty good inside aswell as outside with his fast 1-2 and his defense is tight. HARRIS IS ALSO MASSIVE - 5'11 and a huge reach and a huge Puncher - maybe bigger than Tyszu going by common opponents. His weakness seems to be stamina, concentration, ring smarts and keeping distance effectively.
I won't talk about a Hatton fight as it seems very unlikely, if it happens great. Witter can have a good career without Hatton - if he gets Harris, Cassamoya, Juan Diaz, Mallignaggi, DHOPS, Holt, Rees, Castillo, Amir Khan he will make some serious money and build a very good legacy. Maybe he could even entice Cotto into a fight.
Whos Golden Boy Sid?
I'll be intrigued to see if Harris tries the approach Barrera used on another Ingle fighter. Throw his one-two, maybe step off it then come in with another shot whilst Witter is winding one up.
I think Witter fights like a less powerful latter-day Naz lately. It could be really interesting or an absolute stinker. I think it might be an interesting one as Witter simply has to produce an across the boards performance.
Bradford or Vegas? I know which one is easier to negotiate
Are there any decent eating places in Bradford? Steak and that? I asked a bloke in Wolverhampton where I could get a steak on Friday and he just looked at me and said: "You won't get a steak in Wolverhampton lad."
Ps It seems it is in Doncaster. Is that near to Bradford?
In terms of eating if you like a curry Bradfords the place but you need to know the better places
Doncaster is South Yorkshire so no not super close but about an hours drive probably. I probably will still make the trip.
