I agree with this view, Joe vs Kessler is a big fight but it is not a superfight......
Looking forward to both though.

As far as I am concerned both fights are equal but the worldwide view and obviously in America they will say Hatton v Mayweather - They should be cracking fights regardless of which we consider the best in prospect - Just imagine if both our lads pulled off the win - The fans would be over the "Blue Moon" while the rest would be heard by their deathly silence - These are the big fights we have long waited for and we can only hope training injuries dont occur and spoil what looks like a fabulous 2007 boxing spectacular involving our two top fighters - Cant wait.

Thats is a good question, ABA Boxing.
If both were shown at the same time and the same amount of viewers had the opportunity to tune in, I'd bet my bottom dollar that Hatton-Mayweather would attract the higher figures.
Kessler-Calzaghe sorts out the best in a weight division.
Mayweather-Hatton sorts out the Pound-for-Pouind stakes. HUGE !

The thing with the Calzaghe v Kessler fight is that these 2 are undeniably the best 2 super middles in the world so there can be no excuses! Where as the hatton fight i fear whatever the result some excuses by some people will be made

I cant help but think Mayweather-Hatton will be not a great exciting fight. I want it to happen so much and want it to be a classic.
Just think Mayweather will box & box on the back foot, while Hatton will chase and chase while being picked off by fast jabs.
If hatton can catch Mayweather, Hatton has the power to spark Mayweather out and i so hope he catches him. Else its just a UD for Mayweather with not alot of excitement. Cant see Mayweather wanting to stand there and trade!
My heart will probaly pack up with excitement if Hatton does close Mayweather down, and pounds the shit out of him

Both are good fights and on paper they are both very important fights.
In reality calzaghe-Kessler will probably be the best fight. Mayweather-Hatton will most likely be a bore-fest a la Mayweather-de la Hoya. Floyd on his bike all bight while potshooting Ricky.
Kessler vs calzaghe on the other hand can play out in so incredibly many ways - which makes it a delicatesse for boxing fans.

Both, but my hunch is that kessler/Cal is gona be a better show..
