I didn't give Lacy respect and he Is American.

Theres no American threats In boxing at the moment except for Floyd Mayweather.

I dont know who took of the fight.

And there is a reason why the danish camp havent talked, that much, about the fight. It has never been signed, there is only a verbal agreement about the fight, something that is public known in Denmark but not in Britain I guess.

Hell. I don't believe it. So nothing's been signed. That means if the Danes don't sign, that they "pulled out." Yawn. This looks like shitty rhetoric.

What have Setanta put their money into? A fight that hasn't even been sealed. That's worst than signing a contract with Hobson to get Hatton, even though Hobson has no stake in the next fight.

The TV companies really need to have watertight contracts. And the promoters need to be far more up front.

Right, I definitely want Kessler to win. On top of that, if he wins, you know he'll actually fight someone. Mikkel can let the air out of what could be a real farce.

So is BC going to enlighten us all. Or do we just assume that F Warren is a dishonest bloke?

So today we've actually established that Mormeck-Haye & Calzaghe-Kessler isn't actually confirmed!!!

Happy days!!!

I must admit, my doubts about this fight where raised when I watched the press conference announcing the fight.

There appeared zero representation from the Kessler camp, and it looked more to be promoting the agreement with Setanta.

Even though It wasn't signed didn't Palle say It's on?

http://www.teampalle.dk/composite-1428.htm

Not found nothing that will translate that properly.

Please do.... on youtube?

Regaring the article on teampalle... in essence it says that:

"Warren has announced that the fight is on. Is is good that Warren feels so confident that there are no more obstacles. However, reality is that it is NOT on, because we are still not completely happy and therefore we have NOT signed a contract."

Calzaghe's left it too late for the big fight, quite possibly.

If Kessler's coming over, he should have a satsfactory contract. We all know if it's close - which it'll probably be - that Calzaghe gets the benefit of the doubt.

You'd think after the PATHETIC show only a few months ago (Manfredo), that SN would be doing anything they can not to become a joke.

This nonsense isn't ever going to change. We might be better off just letting them rot on Setanta.

I suppose we should belive that Maccarinelli's fighting Cunningham as well.

Typical Danish Kessler fan.

Have you watched boxing out of Denmark.

Your the same on ESB.

It seems that every Danish Kessler fan turns on you when you don't favour Kessler more and jump on the hype. You guys are hypocrites and just as moronic as most of the current scene posts.

I can;t wait till Joe exposes Kessler as hype. He's a good fighter Kessler, but he's no and never would of been a threat to Calzaghe.

You sound exactly the same as the-best on ESB.

Being a fan of someone doesn't make me brainwashed.

When Kessler knocks Cazlaghe out before 70 million Welsh, does anyone think he'll be unknown?

Calzaghe's fast fluid and fit. But with subtle positioning I think you can make him overextend/pull himself off balance and then punish him. Frustrate him, deny him the correct space that he needs and he'll be throwing single shots way out of range. In that case, he'd be harmless as it's the combos and the fast pace that keeps Calzaghe winning.

Not easy to do that to him but Kessler has a good feeling for ring geometry and I think he's one of the few who can pull it out. Kessler's age will make a big difference, as well.

Time for the new era - Kessler, Froch, Bute, Pascal, Taylor, Pavlik, Inkin, Green, Miranda, Lacy, Andrade & hopefully Mundine.

If he didn't sign earlier than how was Warren allowed to legally sell tickets to this?

come on to say calzaghe is harmless is absolutley ridiculous no matter what fight he is in .....im not welsh and not bias but calzaghe is one of the gamest talented under rated fighters of the modern era ..he steps up to the fighter put in front of him...so to say he is harmless :o :o :o

Some just naturally hate Calzaghe. :o

Some are using the age excuse but he has no wear and tear other than on his hands.

Maybe they'd want Calzaghe to beat past his prime Mexicans or untested Columbians?

no we would rather see him in with Bikja, Jiminez and Pudwill

I hope Kessler knocks JC into retirement I got bored of this shite a long time ago when he cost me money through his arsole going vs Glen Johnson and thus gave up caring what happened to him and his career. Now I just wanna see him lose. The most overated British world champ of the past 20 years no doubt.

Lennox, Hatton, Benn, Eubank, Honeygun was vastly underated.

I agree with you J, Its a shame because Calzaghe has missed out on becoming a true boxing superstar if he had of fought the best around his weight.
