I agree with you, Harris is a real threat to anyone at 140 and has looked good in his last few fights. I think he may KO Witter in a brutal fight.

I thought Harris looked pretty crap in his last few fights, although I thought Witter looked pretty bad as well.

Looks to me that his promoter is just trying to lay the foundations for his fighter to lose.

Judging by his last fight I would say that Harris is still in his prime. He had a shaky time changing trainers post-Maussa but is back at his best imo. Many fighters come back even better after a shock defeat.

I agree, critiques just don't understand how important an elite trainer is at that level,
There are so many factors,peaking too early during training,
over training,making weight the wrong way and a million other things.

Harris got a stable trainer in and has won against credible opponents
Witter will have his hands full, but I think Junior can beat him.
The key is to not only to win, but win in style.
If he accomplishes that , he should get everyone's respect

Box Office I do not blame you for talking up the fight. I also do not blame you for being biaised. Harris v Witter is a good fight in the context they are both passed their best but evenly matched. Neither fighter is or deserves to be in the top 15 pound for pound boxers in the world.

If you like your boxing which I am sure you do you will sit down and realise it is a reasonable fight but in class terms it is very 2nd division.

To think of a WBC fight between two good fighters like these as Second division shos how far our expectations have risen recently.

Six years ago Khaliq v Wise was a world title fight.

And so was Roberts v Kirino Garcia.

And I haven't picked the worst.

Witter-Harris is gonna be a Great fight. A win is critical for both fighters and they both need to look good to attract the BIG fights. Its a proper pick em.

I don't think Witter or Harris are much passed their best if at all.

What I should have wrote is a win is critical for both fighters if they want to go on to compete in BIG money fights

Its a nothing fight in respect of the current climate, if Hatton were to beat Mayweather do you honestly think he would give Witter a second thought. I mention this as whoever wins Witter/Harris, what is the big fight for them when all the "names" now finally want to fight each other.
