The money from these auctions goes to charities. I would think that whoever bought it could easily afford it and would probably use it as a tax write off as a charity donation.
I also cant believe how many times Raymond and Briggs said true world champion, The South African was world class but he is far from the world champion at 147.
If only Robert had fought the previous 11 rounds like he did in the last when he at last put some pressure on the visitor and the visitor started to wobble.
Overall it was a convincing win to the champion, but full marks to Robert in getting off the canvas in round 5 and surviving that round.
I agree Marlin the card did fall away. What about Pat Kennedy as an opponent for Solomon Haumono. He's no worldbeater but at least has a winning record and fights regularly. Soloman needs to step it up asap

Yeah Pat would be a step in the right direction for Soloman. If he doesn't step up soon he never will...
Pat looked very ordinary and was lucky to get the decision, I thought he lost it by a round and i think Solo would take him out in the first round. Pat is far to easy to hit and dosnt use his height well.

As razor said he is no world beater, but he would be better for Solo than having a trilogy with Alex Mene...
The problem is, I think Solo is comfortable doing what he's doing, I don't think he has the commitment or confidence yet to test the uncharted waters of quality opponents. The promoters keep attendance and viewing numbers up, because they have a good chance of seeing a knock-out with Solo on the card, fighting a journeyman.

I can't believe you still came up from Vic to see that card... where about did you watch from?

Keep up the English classes.
Give the kid a break; we all have a few typos now and then. It’s when you type in an alien language like that luke.91 bloke that you have to worry. :P
