Geale has only been dropped once and he slipped

I,d like to see the winner (Dawson) of this fight, challange "the most protected fighter" in Aus = Jamie 'hand feed' Pittman.

Going by his last fight he won the WBA Pan African middleweight title, Alot of talk about him being matched up with Strum.

We have fights like Lenny Zappavigna Vs Ryan Langham - This fight with Dawson and Geale u would think Pittman would put hes hand up but no we have Taylor and Hamden wanting the winner(maybe they should challange Pittman).

Pittman is like so many Australian boxers hand fed shit opponents and then fed to the lions when it comes time to a real fight.

He has fought nobody's and the day his management team decide to fight only half a real prospect watch the tape unravel around the undefeated - half arse record they have built for him.

Hamdan challenges Geale-Dawson winner

I’d even go to back to middleweight to get a world title fight if it was possible,’’ Hamdan said.
So to the winner of Geale and Dawson all I need is seven weeks. Call me if you’re interested.’’
Hamdan said he believed Dawson would win because of his power.

I read this this morning as well and wasn't sure what to think. If Hamden got down to middleweight he would still have a fair size advantage at fight time I would imagine. He is also very experienced and while he a has never really hit the big time he has been in with some good fighters, lets not forget he recently beat Porky Lovett who I would tip to destroy Daswon / Geale (not that Porky could ever make middleweight).

In short I don't know who i would pick if the fight came off. I guess it might depend on who wins the Dawson Geale fight and more importantly how they win...

Hamdan couldnt make Middle and if he did he would get KOd by either.

^That could be a fair point, but I was working on the basis that he could do it heathily as he suggests he can...

You are more than likely right though and this is just a move to get his name out there again.

U know both thses fighters are Light/M-weights but are fighting for a M/weight title. Look at some of the M/weights out there and they are alot bigger then both Geale and Dawson, My Point is would they keep campaning @M/Weight or give it up?

Its the IBO title, I don't think there are even any mandatories so I'm sure they could pick and choose some middleweight scubs, err I mean contenders, and then vacate for a bigger opportunity down the line.

Maybe, I reckon it would be a closer fight though.

I still don't know why Pittman would want to go down to 160...

If he still hits hard and dosen't feel drained why not fight at middleweight.
also I think Pittman would box the ears of Geale

Yeah I guess thats fair enough, but if he could box the ears off Geale I could out run Asafa Powell...

The whole card is in doubt because of a problem with the venue... well to be more accurate the problem is that no one has paid teh venue... It's only a couple of weeks away so I hope they can sort it out.

I notice that the bout scheduled between Les Mason and Brian Fitzgerald has now been dropped off the programme. Les would have been struggling to beat Brian based on his last fight.

Ive trained with Brian in parra and i belive he would beat Les.
