Forbes v Bojado was the show opener on HBO.

I set up Paq Barrera to record on sky + but for some reason it didn't work - my suspicion is they changed the name of the show (they've done it before) meaning what I originally set up to tape didn't exist.

The replay was unbelievably poor - they even missed out round three.

With the amount of shat on setanta's channels I can't believe they rush through these big bill repeats so quickly.

I've been behind what setanta have been doing until now but they have some serious making up to do.

A small point but the studio guy introduced the fight 'lets go to our HBO commentators' - but surely those jokers aren't HBO??

As you know, one of commentators were Mario Lopez aka AC SLATER!

Mario 'Saved By The Bell' Lopez and the rest of his team are, I believe, used for the international feed of HBO fights - for some reason we are denied the opportunity to hear fanboy Kellerman wet himself over fighters, Merchant growl drunkenly or Lamphey toe the corporate line..

I used to fail to see the point of Mario Lopez.... but recently thought he's been the best member of the International feed.

At least its better than Colonel Bob drowling on and on and on and on.

I cannot understand why they need an international feed at all - yes for foreign languages - but why pay two commentators.

Techy probs need sorting but Setanta can fix this kind of thing.

Sky lost the pic for Winky-Taylor for a few secs which spoiled my recording but this was fixed in the replay next day.

Anyone see Setanta's replay today? All te fight was there. Ok a real bastard when you're watching live but it was such a depressing fight to me anyway.

The real action was Andrade v Mack. That was a superb battle and IMO Luevano-Davis being a world title fight was preferable to Forbes...
It wasn't actually, they missed out round 3 or 4 in their replayed coverage

Ah well, if you watch both you get the full picture. Regrettable but at least I have the full fight in my collection and I enjoyed the undercard.
