Greenberg should have far too much ability and variety for Kenna, but I wouldnt be surprised if Colin scores an upset.

Greenberg should but I worry at this stage in Roman's career that he hasn't been in a war. Really fought anyone who has tested him, got up off the floor or ground out a win.

Feel if Kenna is on form like he was against Wayne L, he could well be in for a fight.

Wish I could get 10 people together who could afford to splash out £150 a ticket.

Go along with a tracksuit on, a water bottle towel and bucket and watch from the doors, or the ballroom. Noone will question you, you will look like a trainer/cornerman.

Greenberg on an 8 round points decision.

Was that what happened or is that a prediction.

Greenberg is only 25. He's a baby as far as heavyweights go, he could go another 2 or 3 years before he has to step up. If he's in no rush than I say keep fighting different kinds of fighters, gain as much experience as possible, I'd like to see him have 5 or 6 fights next year, then fight a gatekeeper like Calvin Brock early next year. From there I'd step it up for about 3 or 4 fights for 2009 and look for a big fight early 2010.

Brock might not be the best in the world but he would beat Greenberg with plenty to spare. Now or next year or the year after.

Maybe so, but I'm just saying there is no need for a 25 year old heavyweight to rush and if I was managing him I'd have him fighting blokes who aren't that good with different styles at the moment.

Plus I'm sure Calvin still considers himself a contender and not a gatekeeper, and maybe he's not the best example, but he was the first person I thought of.

I see what you're saying. But Greenberg has regressed not improved, I don't really see where he is going. There is sense in what you are saying, he should have stayed amateur a lot longer IMO.

There is plenty of sense in both posts. However I think we are negative to Greenberg due to the constant stream of PR from his people about him being a billion dollar heavyweight, after nearly every fight we get - he's going to fight in America next against a ranked fighter then a title shot after that. How many more times will we hear this before they actually do it? How many more times will a ranked heavyweight come up and we get Colin Kenna? That's what pisses me off the most. If they said we're taking our time, getting him used to different sizes, styles, arena's etc then fair play but they don't, they talk when not if he becomes a heavyweight champion of the world. The most he can hope for at the moment is a shot for the WBF against Audley!

Honestly how did Colin look? Was he in good condition or did he come to the ring flabby and unfit? Can't believe Colin was put down as he always said that Greenberg wasn't that hard a hitter and he'd hurt him in sparring in the past. Did Colin put up a good effort or has he gone down the journeyman route?

I think Greenburg in fighting guys who don't come to win or don't have a chance of doing so is picking up bad habbits not increasing his talents.

Greenberg v Sosnowski over 10 rounds would be my next choice.

Then maybe the American journeyman; Zuri Lawrence, Cliff Couser - guys like that.

Then maybe a Paulo Vidoz or Michael Sprott.

Then maybe a Monte Barrett....

Hi Billy,

The only reason I ask about him being a journeyman was that after his losses to Steeds and Platov he was considering going down this route and since he's only fought Long since I wondered if he'd gone down that route.

It was meant to be disrespectful just an honest quesiton.

I didn't think the punch that put him down looked that hard, maybe just caught him in the right place.

Greenberg was down too - When his stool collapsed!!
