Ok, let's say Joe plans to hang up the gloves by Dec 08. I know it's a long shot, but if the negotiations could be ironed-out, then Calzaghe could fight three more times, finishing with a bout in Dec 08.josh fg wrote:Says on the news today that Calzaghe wants to fight for 12 more months
I know Calzaghe hasn't fought three times in a year for a long time, but can you imagine, providing he beats Kessler, if Joe were to have three more bouts, all being against top fighters, big paydays! Couldn't ask to go out a better way from boxing if you ask me!
I know three more fights may be pushing it a bit, but I'm just saying, I reckon he should go or that if he plan to box on for another twelve months. Three bouts is quite do-able in my view.
