That ostentatious flashing of his cash is not only vulgar but actually mocking to many boxing fans, especially those who have paid cash they can't afford to see him on ppv or in the flesh.
The man's an idiot. I sincrely hope he ends up broke (I really mean this) - I wouldn't drop him a dollar I wiped my arse with - he is also a boring fighter to watch. Leaning back so far on the ropes that he can't be hit in the head.
I would rather watch two gutsy journeyman have a slugfest.

How can you say that you would like to see someone who has dedicated his life to the sport that you love, and has thought at the highest level, to end up broke. "Leaning back so far on the ropes that he can't be hit in the head." So he should just take shots to the head, should he?
It's not mocking to me, him flashing his money about. It may not come across classy, but not offensive. You want to watch him fight that is why you pay to watch him fight. what is it to you that he flashes his cash? are you really that bothered that you would wish him ill fortune in the future?

If he ends up broke, he certainly wouldn't have thought at the highest level. But I echo the sentiments of the second paragraph.

I can assure you I always clean up after I've knocked one out.......
When I say he just leans out so people can't hit him; I think this is not defensive wizardry but should be illegal in my opinion. If the target area is out of the ring; how can you hit it?
PLus I dislike him because he is not a likeable person. I don't care if he has devoted his life to boxing. Pete Doherty has devoted his life to music; but it doesn't make him any less of a twat.
And whilst I am happy to admit he is the best boxer in the world, Igenerally I don't watch him fight. His fights are boring.
Him and his family are classless idiots and poor role models. I can't stand crass displays of conspicuous consumption and he has conducted himself extremely poorly and disrespectfully in the fight lead up. ANd don't tell me it's a marketing ploy; Hatton himself says when the cameras are off he remains the same pr1ck.
I make no excuses for my position.

Don't make no excuses for your position. It's where you stand and that is fine.
Because i like mayweather as a boxer, i'm not about to start knocking hatton, but he himself does do things in the ring that can be perceived as illegal. I've watched mayweather fight on many occasions and i can assure you that he does absolutely everything by the book. He is a great talent and a joy to watch. I never get tired of seeing someone with his skill level bless the sport that i love.
Come on mate, how poorly has he really conducted himself? He may have been a little disrespectful to hatton, but this is a build up to a massive fight you will normally get this. His conduct has been blown way out of proportion.
He is an exceptional talent and so is ricky hatton, and it's going to be a great fight.
