You'll see I gave Hatton due credit for that win. My point is, it was two-and-a-half years ago, and if that win put him the elite, he hasn't fought in elite class ever since - and even then, Castillo aside, he hasn't impressed.

I never rated him, he really lost to okine - muttley was beating shiit out of him - Ali N beat him, AND TONIGHT HE WAS SCHOOLED!

Considered Mitchell, but I think he's more a case of needing to step up rather than being over-rated. He is an excellent talent, but still young. Then again, older than Khan, and with more fights under his belt, and yet nobody is criticising HIS opposition and performances, while they do with Khan - which is why I put Khan in last week's under-rated list.

Young Mutley is worthy of a consideration - even before this result. A controvesial win over Jennings, loses a thriller vs Anderson. Moves down and that (even without facing anyone) seemed to raise his stock - many thought he was a certain to win the EBU title, whether it was Bami, Lauri or Lynes.

I have NEVER rated Anderson, many to criticise Mitchell for fighting smaller men - many many people, Khan is over rated and a big head to boot.

KHAN OVERRATES HIMSELF!

He is good british level at best.

I thought the article was way over the top - but nonetheless if it were written to get a reaction then so beit.

To have Hatton at the top of the list really is a joke.

To have Froch in the list is also a complete joke the bloke has not been beaten yet - he has taken the traditional route rather than involve himself in micky mouse fights - and regardless of which side of the fence you sit on - until he has failed at world title level he can hardly be accused of being over hyped at this stage can he? His amateur pedigree speaks for itself and to date he has beaten all put before him in the professional ranks.

To be putting Jamie Moore in the list is at in my opinion at an almost "mind boggling" stupid stage - no one has over hyped Moore - I don't think anyone has stated he is a world class fighter or hyped his potential to over the top situations - Moore is a good honest professional who has been involved in some fights of the year - he has shown his courage, sheer grit and determination to succeed. He now has a chance at the European Title - I hope he wins it - he deserves to - However world level is a step too far in my opinion - but with that said fighting for the European Title is an achievement in itself.

I don't think Rhodes is always exciting
I thought he looked gun-shy against Lockett. Interestingly it's now nearly one and a half years since then and SN haven't promoted him since. Maybe that's someone else who thinks he's overrated

I'm probably the only person who aggrees on Hatton, when he beat Kostya Tszyu he may have been a bit over the hill and the fact he retired after that suggests that may be a part of that win. Judging that that is the basis for his high regard in the p4p discussions.

In his favor I thought that he proved a lot in being able to grit through Luis Collazo but on ballence he is probably over rated.

As has been said by others I think Khan is over rated by the majority of the regular press, although in the context of the boxing fans community there is some anomosity to that.

Carl Froch over rates himself but not so many others do, and he has held onto his belt and beat people of european class including Matthew Barney who could have been a European champion at the weight above. He has shown ambition and looks to have taken the best challenges avalable to him.

It's daft to say you can't over-rate somebody until they've lost and/or been to world class. Butterbean was undefeated at one stage, you know!
