What a weekend – going to Froch-Reid tomorrow, Mormeck-Haye and Mosley-Cotto on Saturday night on Setanta and then going across the expressway to St Andrews to watch Villa murder Blues on Sunday in the Second City derby.

I hope you have a great weekend all the way up to Sunday morning Tom. 8)

I am afraid Sunday afternoon will be fraught with disappointment though, my misguided friend!

Setanta have just guaranteed that I will continue my subscription past December - well done Setanta; on the ball when others would have let this gem slip by :TU:

Setanta are kicking Sky's arse at the moment. Since the last "big" fight on Sky, which was Taylor-Pavlik late September, Setanta have delivered Barrera-Pac 2, Diaz-Diaz, Calzaghe-Kessler and now Cotto-Mosley & Haye-Mormeck! If they keep coming up with the goods, I'll keep subscribing.

Exactly. £10 a month is outstanding value when you consider what they're delivering.

You've still got to stay in for Froch-Reid live, Terry. Send the missus out for a takeaway.

Setanta are doing very nicely. They're winning us over, and IMO have been from the start by picking "can't miss" fights like Cotto-Judah & Hatton-Castillo.

Internationally and domestically I've been quite impressed. Still, Sky remain the domestic kings as they give us regular stuff, and let's not forget the biggie, Hatton-Mayweather next month.

Setanta are fast gaining ground on sky - they had better be looking over their shoulder and improve their international coverage or they could see viewers migrate to Setanta

A complete shutout with multiple knockdowns. Sky seem to have dropped boxing, while Setanta have every big fight (except Mayweather-Hatton - and thats PPV and not Sky Sports)

Setanta didn't need to give subscribers this, we've already had Cotto-Mosley and Calazage-Kessler and those are well worth a subscription by themselves.

I reckon Setantas subscription has gone up 10 fold recently (although I have no idea), everyone seems to be getting the channel when it was once a minority station. Its done really well from having Ricky Hatton and is keeping up providing to us the niche boxing market.

And £30 a month for TV+Setanta+Broadband+Phone = Very good deal

Sky Sports dont give us PBF-Hatton though so. What ahve Sky done recently? Taylor-Pavlik and thats been about it in the last 3-4 months.

Setanta has had: Castillo-Hatton, Judah-Cotto, Mosley-Cotto, Calazage-Kessler, Diaz-Diaz, MAB-Pacman, Clinton Woods, Haye-Mormeck

Sky have been completely blown away and it looks like Setanta might have stole boxing.

Saturday night on Setanta goes like this

Mormeck v Haye LIVE

Calzaghe v Kessler repeat

Cotto v Judah repeat

Cotto v Mosley LIVE

Er indoors has just been going through the schedules and is having fits.

Only a few months ago I was completely bored with the game

But now: Boxing is BACK, big time.

Boy, saturday night is gonna be a good one!

Just asking, will any of you have a little kip after Haye-Mormeck until Cotto-Mosley show starts @ 2:30am?

Feeling tired, like you're going to nod off any minute is not what one wants to feel like with such a great night of boxing!

I stayed up for the Calzaghe fight last week, but nearly feel asleep 7 this saturday will be an even longer show!

Props to Setanta. They must have paid what Don King was asking. Can't see King relenting much in terms of negotations for tv right's fee!

I'll probably have a little kip, but leave the DVD recorder running just in case I sleep too long. Not so long ago, I would have drunk right through from about mid-afternoon until 5 in the morning. I'm getting too old for that now and I prefer to view sober these days.

Anyone know the running order for this?

What time is it likely to start? I know it starts 7.45 on S1, but time is the bout scheduled for?
