Haye is going to be dangerous in the first few rounds,very dangerous
But i pick Mormeck to stop Haye in the 8th round,its Hayes stamina its just awful
I dont mind if Haye proves me wrong

i've only seen Conway the once but it was a 10 or 12 ronder at Hartlepool a couple years ago for the IBO version of world title if I remember correctly....I knew nothing about him but gathered he was not a world beater and also that most of his fights were behind, rather than in front of him judging by the 30 -odd fights on his record......but he put on a good show of boxing, fitness and heart that night against an Eastern European lad who was tough.

He does have some heart i would have to admit that, he could of found a soft spot on the canvas night i saw him, but he didn't, have to give him that.
Yeah, I was amazed to look on his record later and see 12 rd IBO fights, even if it is a meaningless title. Seemed pretty ludicrous. A pointd win over Steve Robinson... that seriously depressed me that day.

i think if haye dosen't get him out in five he's in trouble. it will be a great fight either way though. and i'm sure there'll be an RbR here, and there's commentary on five live as well i think

Setanta predictably are still playing out Calzaghe-Kessler so we need to be patient and wait for the big one at 8.45.
Anyone know who the commentary team will be? Maybe Setanta will have Rawling there (and probably Duke as Woodhall is in the studio). I am imagining it will be the King Vision cast which means "Colonel" Bob Sheridan for our viewing and listening pleasure

maybe, but we all know about haye's stamina problems. they're not as bad as when he fought thomson but he's still to prove that he can last the distance wheras mormeck has

Mormeck has stmaina issues himself so both may end up blowing themselves out. Haye has bigger power while Mormeck brings more pressure, but he can be outboxed, as he was for 7 rounds by Alexander Gurov.

Looks like it's going to be a lonely place for Haye in there tonight, though at least he has the familiar face of Ritchie Davis ringside!
He'll need his nerve, though it's Mormeck who might have to be careful early. Those early rounds HAVE to be Haye's best chance,

What concerns me with Haye is, seeing him look fatigued even when he hasn't had to work that hard. A couple of times I've felt that just carrying his frame around is demanding for him.
Mormeck might not be able to go all out for 12 rounds but I can't believe that he would run out of steam before Haye.

M'Baye's already done more in the first few rounds than he did in the whole of the Rees fight. I'll never understand what was wrong with him that night.

Chesh - I was just thinking EXACTLY the same thing myself. There's no way a fighter of M'baye's talents should have ever lost to Gavin Rees, good boxer though that I think Rees is.
Gavin Rees is promoted by allegedly allegedly is he not?

Not this again. This was Haye's 10th fight. He's a different fighter now. He's much more conservative, timing his punches and conserving power. JMM will be a tough fight, but we've seen Haye last the rounds on three occasions, going 12 once.
Haye was naive and paid for it against Thompson - that will never happen again.

Bunce is talking shit i think, getting a bit excited in that little interlude. I'm not sure anyone knows what happened in that last fight, Colonel, analysers or even the referee. Diaz had every right to complain IMO.
