I can just see it - in 2010, Haye vs Odlanier Solis Fonte, the heavyweight megabucks fight. It's got the revenge match angle, from when they met as amateurs etc.

It's refreshing to have a British boxer willing to push his luck. Let's hope he doesn't get caught on the domestic merry-go-round for too long.

I can't see the fight myself, not really Hayes style to pick on people out of his league.

One of the things I like about Haye is he showed a loss needn't cause your early career to lose momentum if you are picking the right fights to begin with. This is not a lesson FW is in any way interested in though.

That looks about Right - Brewster might be a tad lucky to be there (I'd be tempted to put Tua in for Brewster).

Rahman also - but really cannot see who he'll replace - maybe Virchis.

Vitali and Corrie Sanders have a bit of previous experience - but obviously Vitali hasn't fought since his retirement yet and having Corrie Sanders there at this moment would be a bit like having Tommy Morrison there.

I just cant help feeling that Haye would have a really good chance of beating most of these if not all of them.
Maybe a bit optimistic i know but i can not remember when any 1 of these really impressed me. Obviously Haye may need a few fights in this division to assert himself but i feel he is one of those fighters who might be able to go and blow 1 of the top names away or get blew away himself fighting a lower ranked opponent !! I just feel trying to get to the top quickly is the best way to go for him

This heavyweight ranking thing is harder than it looks. Prep'd in haste....have I forgotten anyone. Our Audley comes in at about 34 on this listing. I need to point out, this was done off the top of my head without much thought. Amzing how many mediocre fighters you can muster when its heavyweights. Id probably be stuck at 10 if I did the middleweights.

Byrd would be a good opponent actually.

How has Ibragimov jumped above Chagaev in everyones rankings?

I think Chagaev would tear Ibrag and Maskaev a new a-hole. I wouldnt be surprised if he stretched Wlad. Chagaev is pure class- in a really boring but good effective way.

Gomez going to be the next WBC champ, after Maskaev/Peter.
