Great win for Guzman. I'm glad he's stayed at a weight long enough have a really good win and cement himself a bit.

Maybe he hangs around 130 for Marquez and Pac. If so, he might just face Arthur...

I didn't see this fight but against Barrios I thought Guzman looked like a more aggressive version of Floyd Mayweather.

Arrum has come out already and said he doesn't want to put Pac in with Guzman, which is disapointing. Guzman has been Mr Ovoided his whole career and would beat Marquez and Pacquiao at 130. He apparently weighed 147 on fight night so expect him to go to 135 soon, hopefully a big fight is out there for him as hes paid his dues against Barrios and Soto.

Which would not surprise me at all!

Has anyone seen allegedly's column in the Sun this week about Haye-Maccarinelli? Rather than show class & give Haye credit for beating Mormeck, Warren tries to pour scorn in the victory, & claim that until Haye beats Maccarinelli, he can't consider himself the champ & Cruiser.

I wonder if it's Warren who pays The Sun to allow him the colum in their publication? It can't be The Sun paying Warren, can it! Column has so much rubbish in it, it's not worth a carrott!

Guzman is the real deal - People have gotten far too wrapped up in his power, but his boxing ability is top notch, as he has proved before this fight.

He'll give any top fighter a run for their money.

Guzman would beat Manny Pac as well I think, and he'd absolutely pulverize AA.
He really looks the complete package. Shame his hands have gone I hear, because he looked a ferocious puncher a few years back.

He can still turn on the power though, as we saw when he blitzed a shocked Barrios in the first, though I reckon he damaged them in that round and had to switch to boxing to get the points win.

Hopefully he's saving those hands for when he gets at crack at Floyd.

You could make the argument that he is the most avoided, therefore possibly the best, boxer in the world in the same vein as Margarito was. I don't think AAA would beat him though, and I'm a fan of AAA.

I'm of the same view Terry, i know Guzman has been talked up as a top 10 P4P boxer, but there is something about him that i don't like, and i can't quite work out what it is.
