He'd be 34,hasn't fought in 8 years. If he weighs that much it would take him at least a year to get in shape. But here's his problem:There are fighters out there who have killed other men. But when it comes to the rape of a woman with bodily harm,like Tony Ayala,he'd wouldn't have much of a fan base.

Tyson was in jail for "raping" that beauty queen,but he didn't physically hurt her. She called the cops the next day to report what happened. I wouldn't want Tyson around my sister,but if he had disfigured her and the public would have seen photos of that,he would have been finished.

Who knows what prison was like for Ibeabuchi? I don't think anyone was asking for his autograph. I worked in jails. Guys who hurt kids and women are in constant fear of getting shanked and raped themselves.

Tua was surely better than an old Tyson.

Tyson might well have lost to Rahman in 2002. In any case, Rahman knocked out a prime Lennox Lewis so what does this say about Lewis?

I'll tell you something --- I wouldn't be backing the Tyson from the late 90's-onward against a peak Tua. With Tua's impervious jaw & Tyson's ever-low punch rate, Tua would knock him out.

But Tua was never, ever in the young Tyson's league. Not close to it. Tua really was disgraceful against Lewis, even allowing for the measurements he had to overcome. I thought Tua's lack of effort or urgency took away from Lewis' victory a little bit.

Tua was past it by the time of the Rahman rematch and also far over his best weight. I thought we were talking about prime Tua.

Ike is such a nut that he never would have made the top flight anyway, ....a fighter has to be mentally sound to really go all the way, otherwise he usually comes unstuck sooner or later, before he gets there....

So...... what is the deal then?

Is Ike getting out in early December, or is there just "a chance" he might get paroled? And if he does get paroled, will he get deported and spend time in another country's criminal facility?

Even without the quick stoppage and the illegal blow isn't it concievable that Tua might have stopped Rahman before the fight ended? Tua often came to fights too heavy but he was a highly rated contender for a while.

I think the best Tua was better than the 2002 version of Tyson.

I doubt he'd spend time in another country's prison, he's not some international criminal, if he's paroled I imagine deportation might be an option for his board.
