Surely Ganoy is ranked to low to be in an eliminator.

Not saying Ganoys next move is an IBF eliminator, although it could be a possibility, but here's the deal with the IBF...

IF Diaz was stripped of his IBF, belt then it's a vacant title. Nate being ranked number one would fight for the belt against the highest ranked "available contender". Ganoy could also petition to be involved in a #2 eliminator. The highest ranked guy after Nate is Kid Diamond (#3) but I've heard he was arrested and no longer in the US so he may be out of play.

So...it is conceivable, but not certain, that Ganoy (who now is #9 IBF) could be the highest ranked "available" contender if the IBF title becomes vacant if Diaz fights Katsidis and gets stripped of this belt.

Again, that's just to clear the air a bit in relation to the IBF, where Ganoy has his highest ranking. It could be the path he takes, OR..... :)

No. You have to be ranked outside the top 50 for something like that.

Honestly, their is nothing set in concrete yet. But the IBF stuff isn't the only option.

The reports of Ganoy going after Campbell seem a tad premature at this point. Really, at this point, it makes no sense to Campbells team.

I think everyone is waiting to see what happens with the Kat v Diaz fight. It has a bearing on just about everyone looking for a big fight.
