I think they'll go a sensible, respectable route, i.e. Europeans and ex champs, at heavyweight. It worked at cruiser, getting a Euro title, making defenses, learning this & that. it should work at heavy, though things will be a bit tougher. Gradual learnign curve - again. I hope.

Its a very tough ask (IF it were to happen), but thats why I like Haye. Hes a risk-taker, a fans fighter and an entertainer who hasn't protected his 0 (or his 1).

I disagree, I'd love to see the fight. 2 British top 5 P4P punchers facing off against each other is a dream and a fight that will do wonders for the winning fighters (and possibly the losers) reputations over here.

Its a mega-fight and one that I'd love to happen, but if Haye is saying he can't make 200 and Enzo's not moving up then there's a major stumbling block.

I hope we're not going to get another 2 months (again) of both fighters saying they want the fight and then it doesn't happen, without a decent reason. At the moment there seems to be plenty of hot air from both. LETS GET IT ON!!!!

Haye would bomb Wlad out or vice-versa? I'd unsurprisingly be backing Haye if it were to happen its a 'who lands first' fight, but I'd fancy Hayes chances

i just don't see it. haye has already proved himself cw champ, mac is just a paper titlist. Beating him proves nothing, haye will be weight drained again and because of this may even lose, he has bigger fish to fry at heavy where he will feel more comfortable at the weight.

I hope money doesn't lure Haye back down for this one. It is a waste of time and catastrophic if he loses.

oh and if he goes straight in against wlad I would say Wlad lands first and bombs him out.

I think Wlad would smash Haye. He's much the bigger man, has a cracking jab and thunderous right hook. He's also a much more rounded fighter than he once was. I honestly think Wlad's jab could probably drop Haye.

No offence to David who is an ambitious and likeable guy, but Wlad is the one guy he shouldn't face.

I suspect they may be putting him in with Sam Peter.

Wlad would be bloody insain. If he does then there will be no question as to his heart or that he is scaired of Enzo they tried to make the Rob Calloway fight last time when he ended up fighting Muhammed A.

And I think Hasim is the best option we have heard of him in this country he is a good but limeted pro.

Sinan Samil Sam, Luan Krasniqi or Matt Skelton would be pitching it about right for Haye.

I think so too though think he'd learn more from Sprott than Skelton. However Haye sounds like he is pitching above that from this weekends comments

what big name american would agree to a fight with haye? there can't be that much money on the table and haye isn't ranked yet... and where would the fight be held?

As undisputed 200lb champion, and as custodian of the WBC belt, he'd be guaranteed a top 10 ranking wouldn't he?

My thoughts exactly. Like John Ruiz, no amount of losses seems to push Rahman out of the top 10, and since losing to Maskaev he has looked more heavy, ponderous & vulnerble than ever.

The zero-KO Zuri Lawrence was able to knock him back with shots. Sure Team Haye know this huge, strong, slow, chinny man is ripe for the picking & a good PR move with the old Lennox Lewis fight.

I don't think Valuev is a bad shout (as someone has said). Haye mentioned his name quite a few times whilst Valuev was champ, I reckon Haye fancies the job and I don't blame him.

The speed difference would be phenomenal and NV isn't a humungous puncher considering his humungous size (wouldn't like to take one flush off him though).
