You guys make me laugh.
On the original point I don't think that Eastman was ever that much kop. He's probably slipped 5-10% now which is enough to start losing at the level he is.
I think peak Eastman would probably have beaten Duddy but that's not saying much, for either of them.

Got of the deck to cling on to win? It was a flash KD with seconds remaining - Joppy was hardly out of it.
And I still had him a 3 point winner - the fight wasn't that close. Plus I agree with Terry's assessments.... I do disagree with the terminology "world class" - my definition is that he is/was.... but he was hardly an outstanding champion.

I think I should have added a smiley thing

, when I said you guys make me laugh I actually meant it - the posts on the thread were funny like 'ha ha' not make me laugh because you are all so stupid and I'm not!
Maybe the chap who started the 'forum bitterness' thread was onto something as you automatically assumed I meant to be negative?

I think that Eastman is awesome. He beat Evans Ashira, who is a great fighter.

FLASH KD?!!? Rewatch the tape mate, he belted Joppy to the floor.
As for the scoring, i think i'll go with the scorecard of former world champion Glenn McCrory that some guy called Stu Jones from Wales. And saying the fight wasn't close just simply goes against all the reporting that followed the fight and is still available on the BBC website or linked on Howard Eastmans wiki
