there was that silly bint that started going hysterical whilst the Rickster was butting the fixtures and fittings against Mayweather.

silly bint

Ricky's better half by comparison did him proud, she even had a little cry (well a big cry) when he got bashed........not like these fcking gold-diggers. At least you could tell she was into him and not just his money.

Cool, if anyone could get footage and tube it, that would be useful- any of the fights from that show. I myself don't have Set, or Sky.

She was annoying, but I think Mitchell's opponent elected to lose rather than win.

Have non of you ever been to watch someone fight that you care about then?? She is a 17 year old girl who watched her boyfriend get dropped! To call her a chav whore is well over the top, i take it your around 17! I have never bothered to post anything on this site as think most of the people are very sad & take things too far & probably never even been inside a boxing gym let alone the ring! Always banging on how people should do this & do that when half of you haven't got a clue!

I am Kev & vins sister & was warned years ago by kev to keep my mouth shut at ringside as all he could hear was my big mouth!! ha ha i told him to pee off! To say women shouldn't go to these shows is ridiculous! I have been going to shows for over 10 years & i can honestly say women having a good shout is far better behavior than most of the men that attend!

I think you should remember this is just a sport, not your whole life!

calling her a chav whore is wrong i agree.
but there is a big difference between cheering your boyfriend on and screeching like a banshee, i personally don't have a problem with women attending sports events but when you pay good money to see a boxing match you expect to leave afterwards with your eardrums intact.

and as for saying most of the people on here wouldn't get into a boxing ring would kev and vinny jump out of a helicopter into a war zone like i have numerous times. somehow i don't think they'd have the bottle.

You say that people on here are sad and most havent been inside a boxing gym or ring. The people on this board and the life of boxing, they are the people who help pay the boxers wages through attending the shows, paying £10 a month extra for setanta, watchingPPV events and paying for sky subscription. Also on this board are people who write for various publications and web sites and help promote boxing throughout the UK. We do always bang on about how boxers should do this and that because this is an opinion based message board, opinions are like arse holes, everyones got one.

Whilst I think the "chav whore" comment was harsh the fact of the matte ris Vinny's missus was very very annoying. She was screaming like a good un before he got put on the seat of his pants and continued to do so throughout the contest. Enzo maccarinelli found it funny, then annoying and im pretty sure most of the people who had the misfortune to sit in her vicinity found it bloody annoying too.

I suppose if you pay your money for your ticket you've got a right to... oh, wait.

You guys should come along to youth football, there are alot of mum's who scream and shout about their little Timmy being tackled.

I made one comment about "Shouldn't you be at home doing the washing up"
My god she went like Tony Wilson's Mum, and i had no security there to help me.

Well it's good to get the other perspective, obviously she cares about her man. But regardless, you need to have some respect for other people who have paid to watch the show, and whilst shouting support in a dignified fashion is expected, that screeching was probably ruining the fight for a lot of people which is not showing a great deal of self-awareness.

BUt I totally agree with you that women should vbe welcomed at boxing shows - I think boxing is a sport for everyone, to say that women shouldn't be allowed to watch is just Victorian.....or more topically, Muslim - maybe the poster who made this comment thinks women should be at home dressed head to toe in a black sheet and doing nothing more than cleaning, cooking or wiping a baby's arse.

I must admit I like seeing pretty and glamourous women amongst the swaggering blokes at a fight.

Yeah but if you had paid good money for a ticket and she was sitting next to you it would drive you mad.

She should have been told to show some consideration for others.

My Aunt behaved like that at one of my fights once, I told her not to come again. Not that I noticed, but people told me after that it was embarrassing.

I've had problems at a couple of shows when i've supported the 'away' boxer. Not from women shouting, but knobhead blokes who see anyone not supporting their boxer as an enemy.

I am not really into insulting 17 year old girls.

This is a high risk sport and feel there is no need for any man to publicly slate a young girl for supporting her boyfriend when emotions are extremely high.

I often shout my head off when close friends and family are in a tough fight, I cant/wont help it, it’s my passion. Fortunately my voice is not as high pitched, so totally drowned out by the rest of the noise.

If it was you in a tough fight and same situation, would your female family members react any differently?

It was constant, non stop, screaming though. Also, was any of it actualy useful information?
