Strange how any Sports Network fights which go up on YouTube get taken down very quickly, but this one has remained up. Suspect Mr Warren takes some personal satisfaction from it being in the public domain?
I really don't think he'd beat Rahman and Brock. We're talking about a guy who has ultimately failed at British domestic level.Mario wrote:This would be fantastic if it came off. I think im one of the few left still rooting for Audley and i do think theres a possibility he could salvage his career with a couple of big wins, but Tony Thompson is not the man i'd have gone after.
He'd have an easier time with any of the champions, bar Wlad. I guess its a fast track to a title shot if he wins it but TT is talented, ugly to watch and very underated. If he wanted a big fight i'd have thought Rahman or Brock would be better options, but good luck to him!
Btw, is there a source for this?

Skelton could probably go 12 rounds with most Heavyweights, he's a tough fella. Harrison on the other hand is as fragile as they come and mentally weak when it comes to the crunch. I doubt he'd last the distance with Chagaev.overhand_right wrote:nickd wrote: I really don't think he'd beat Rahman and Brock. But as we saw at the weekend with Skelton, our British domestic level is not far off world class at all. Chagaev had a hard nights work with a man Williams & Sprott have narrowly edged/competed well with.
In this case, its actually posted by The man himself- well, by his website.oliverfennell wrote:Strange how any Sports Network fights which go up on YouTube get taken down very quickly, but this one has remained up. I agree with this.overhand_right wrote:Audleys self esteem must be below zero after the subsequent form of Guinn and the devastating kayo loss to Sprott.
Anyone else get the feeling Audley knows he cant win but just wants to go down fighting for his final fight?
That could be quite a tricky match-up to make right now......boxrec wrote:In fact maybe audley should fight king soon as a warm up match for thompson......
I don't know.jomothepure wrote:
Do remember that before Sprott landed the whopper on Parcel Farce (which in fairness would have stopped a fair few in their tracks)
Im not necessarily saying he would win but if he wanted a world rated heavyweight with a decent reputation he could have picked a much easier fight than Thompson. I do think he's got a chance though, as someone said earlier, Skelton wasnt completely outclassed in his title fight and Audley could easily beat better people than Matt Skelton if he just upped his workrate and used his skills more. His biggest problems are in his head.nickd wrote:I really don't think he'd beat Rahman and Brock. The way that dude compared It to Lewis VS McCall. That was nothing like that.

You are joking?! It nearly took his head off...ebeneezer wrote:I don't know.jomothepure wrote:

Watching it again it looked like an arm punch.
