I think Floyd's responses were "Patriots" and "I like Michael Vick."

Yeah, unprofessional of Lampley, though funny, and pretty impressive by Mayweather, even if he was only fighting Henry Bruseles.

Thanks for that, IFF, I knew I wasn't sure of the names that were used or the exact quote.

I can understand Lampley, being ringside, was taken aback & amused to hear Mayweather in the conversation, but I still didn't approve of him addressing the fighter.

You had to laugh, though.

That sounds like it would have been pretty funny to see.

It sums up however how lazy they are as commentators.

Even if it is a one sided fight, boring, and so on. They are paid
to provide an audio track to explain and enlighten those at home.

Every fight has the potential to grab a new fan, and talking about
bo-tox and other sports while a fight is going on does nothing to
help the sport.

Maybe I am just anal. But professionalism is not something the
sport requires to those who just wear gloves.
