I have stood next to him, he is small - and I have also stood next to a fair few Jnr Welters.. Yeah he's ripped, but the best way to get a six pack is to be skinny. All the weight is carried in the legs in the bigger fighters - no good looking at a few pictures and saying 'wow he's big!'!!!!!!

I think Cotto would be all wrong for Witter if he can take his shots, he might be slowish but he is calculting, strong, accurate and relentless with great stamina at 147. He'll be too big for Witter.
Essentially Cotto is a very rich man's version of Lovemore Ndou -applies steady pressure, but does everything better.... and Ndou gave Witter problems.
Didn't Witter break his hand when he knocked N'dou down?
Witter would be able to frustrate Cotto - I think it would be a very good fight!.
Correct. He did damage his hand in that fight and hence why he had trouble going for the KO in the later rounds. Id prefer to see Witter stay at 140 and keep pounding on Hattons door until we get this ever elusive show down. Witters accomplished much with the paltry scraps his been handed and i wouldnt want to see it go to waste with him getting beat by bigger names up at 47.
