Good fighter, I agree. But so is Ricky Hatton. To many on here he seems to be nothing short of a bum. Rubbish record, terrible attitude, battered by Floyd, disrespected.
Anyone know why? You're right, I'll not comment on this subject again, it's too frustrating.
Its not Witter love, it's British Boxing love (in my case anyway).
I agree that Hatton is an excellent fighter, but his attitude has to come under question considering he continually refuses this fight
I'm the same mate. This fight has to happen
at some point for the good of British boxing.
I think what annoys me, and unofficially Hook, is how people have turned within months of liking/loving/hailing Hatton to saying some quite disgraceful things about him, just because he won't fight someone when they want him to.
They seem to forget how he's helped, along with others, to put boxing back into the sports pages and on terrestrial TV. Someone also mentioned a perfectly valid point, no-one's slagged off Calzaghe because he's facing Hopkins and not Woods.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander IMO!
