Bernard Hopkins pretty much says that his only hope to win is to stop Joe Calzaghe from throwing so many punches.
Most of Hopkins' talk is with regards to his boxing history in comparison to Calzaghe's, and not actually anything to do with the fight in hand.

Joe has said he doesnt fear any fighter but he does have a fear of losing. That fear, combined with his super fitness, and superb skills has kept him winning. He has also said if he was going to lose it would be against someone like Manfredo as he doesnt have enough motivation for average fighters. For fights like Kessler and Lacy he had to raise his game and be fully motivated to win. I dont think BHOPS will put doubts in Joes mind with words and despite Hopkins age I am sure Joe will take this fight very seriously. He has wanted this fight for many years, and at last the opportunity has come, and he will be fully prepared knowing its a fight he must win. Hopkins is a dangerous fighter, but so was Lacy, Joe will be too fast and win 7 to 5.

Hopkins is in for a long night, I honestly don't think this fight will be as competitive as the Kessler fight turned out to be. Calzaghe wins atleast 8 rounds on Lederman's card but maybe less according to Golden Boy's biased judges.

I got this strange aura from Hopkins that I just know he's going to win this fight. I got it when I saw Floyd Mayweather dancing for photographers at the Hatton weigh-in, there was an aura he gave off where I just knew at that moment - despite Hatton's long insistance that there was no way in hell he wouldn't win - that he was going to win the thing. I saw it when Mayweather emerged in the arena on the night too, where you could sense an aura that he was just going to win the thing - total relaxation/inner confidence in his face. You'll see the same when Hopkins comes out for this one.

He'll constantly get off first with right hands, hurt Calzaghe with every right hand, and land them on the breaks too. He'll hit hips, limbs, whatever he can get. He'll use head, elbows, forerams or whatever he can use. And it'll be a gradual beatdown, with Calzaghe folding.
I think I know what the aura was around them; I bet they have been having Readybrek for breakfast!
