I thought Eastman did enough, though no arguments with close Duddy win. If you follow the skewed logic.
However Duddy is asking to be taken out, he's tough, game and entertaining but he's static with mediocre hand-speed. He's not going to have long career irrespective of success.
I'd make Lockett a slight under-dog simply because Duddy has been in with better fighters but I'm not sure what Duddy has that Gary doesn't, other than Irish roots and a backer with more focus and faith in him?
Do you?
That said, I dont think Pavlik is unbeatable.

As far as I'm concerned Duddy answered my prayers. The bouts that Sky showed were boring, and Duddy and his opponent had me on the edge of my seat, but it was Duddy that really made the fight so exciting.
You can critisize him all day long, it doesn't take a genius to spot the glaring faults with his defence, but he's very exciting and he's winning the fights, and to date has done more than some have to earn a world title shot.

Yeah fair play to JD for bringing the excitement to Saturday night (that JD = John Duddy rather than Jack Daniels although I'm sure the latter would have had a similar effect), it was a cracking fight, but after hearing and seeing the amount of press Duddy has had I was expecting it to be a formaility

To be fair Duddy fought much better against Eastman, the problem on Saturday is that he underestimated his opponent and paid the price. Maybe this will be a kick up the arse for him that he needs, but his chances against Pavlick arent good unless he learns to use some defence. On the plus side though he has a tremendous chin and heart, he just doesnt need to display them quite so much as he does otherwise they will wear out pretty damn fast...
