Interesting.

Enzo is a good fighter, but he is nothing compared to what the Heavyweights will bring.
Povetkin, Ibragimov, Chagaev and of course Wlad would all be much tougher fights for Haye.

Unlike the majority, I thought Wlad was impressive the other night.
He did as he wanted with Sultan who was as good an amateur as Haye ever was.
Now Wlad is getting his confidence back, he will take some beating.
I can see him dominating for the next 5 years if he really wants it.
re haye and Ibragimov. Haye should be a heavy and Ibrag should be a cruiser - the latter is a bit too lardy and this is bad for a guy who likes to go round on the back foot and try to box in a nimble way.
Good cll, and Wlad couldnt KO him. Haye is plenty big enough. If I had my way i would have David sub 220.

He will prove to be an ATG

Come on the HAYEMAKER.

Wlad could have KO'ed him, thats the reason why the fans were dissapointed.
He never took the risk of going all out to stop him.

Haye has plenty of convincing to do before we can claim him to be the next Heavyweight champ.
He has the ability, but so far all he has done in the heavyweight ranks is KO a nightclub doorman.

If Wlad connects with Hayes chin, the Hayemaker will be seeing stars.

Mind you, Haye does have the tool to beat Wlad.Serious one punch power.
Thats the only way Wlad loses. You won't ever see him get outboxed.

The Hayemaker could make noises at Heavyweight, but it all depends on his reaction to a genuine Heavyweight connecting with his chin.

Haye is a genuine HW

Ali was out of his nut againt Cooper but won v Liston twice and Foreman once.

Jimmy Young beat Foreman and Jimmy Ellis went close v Bugner.

Haye is plenty big enough even at the weight his is now

The EBU belt around his waist is the big giveaway!

I'd agree that his best weight is likely 220. It's Tyson all over again, with trainers making him fear being worn down by heavier guys. That only happens when you lose mobility and can't avoid every attempted clinch.

I'd try to get someone like Chazz Witherspoon as his next opponent, should he do well against Maccarinelli.

A fighter who was put on queer street by Mock, stopped convincingly by Thompson and bruised up by Lassee Johansen and Fragomeni should not be compared to Ali, Jimmy Young or Jimmy Ellis.

Those comparisons are as unintentionally hilarious as Haye's Tim Westwood entrance song

Its also hilarious Haye talking about "Russians" having no rythm when he is more stiff and flat footed than Wlad who now moves around on his toes.

Yeah I saw Wlad up on his toes against Sultan, he was floating around the ring like Herol Graham with a jetpack on
