The 15 rds do count for a lot, I agree. IMO the top cruisers are in this order Holyfield, Haye, Gomez and then Qawi. I think size was a real issue for Qawi - we saw how good he looked when Holyfield accomodated Qawi's size, but he wasn't big enough when taller blokes used a good jab (I could count the disappointing loss to Mike Spinks at 175 as an example of this as well as the bitterly disappointing Holyfield rematch).
great fighter to watch, great head movement & infighting, but I feel the bulk of this 5' 6 guy's legacy is at 175 where he stopped Saad Muhammad twice, beat Eddie Davis in a slugfest (Davis went on to IMO get robbed vs Spinks), beat a very tough James Scott and hammered former champ Mike Rossman.
