I think a past it American like Rahman. Couple of fights like that.
Then maybe a "prospect" like Arreola or Chazz Spoon. For the competitive side of it.
Then get closer to some elim fights. Maybe Juan Carlos Gomez who's up in the WBC rankings.
Two more "steady" fights like perhaps Maskaev or Brock, then start looking for titles.

Not a good pick since Haye only wants to fight 3 more years and then retire.

And he's taking six months off to bulk up on natural weight. I guess that leaves him six fights left, tops.

Rahman and Meehan would be two great opponents.
Between them they have the power people want to see Haye tested with and high rankings with the ABC's.
Infact, a win over one of these could even propel Haye striaght into an eliminator.
I don't see much point in Haye treading too much water at Heavy.
No way would I suggest he take 3 or 4 warm up fights at the new weight before taking on a top ranked guy.
Get straight in there I say, and I suspect he probably will do.
