I have to say Mickey, Murray looked much better in Letterkenny than he did in Dublin on the 22nd, can't say the same for Brian mind lol. It was a much better display of boxing, though as I said in Letterkenny I still reckon Fagan would give Murray a good run for his money, would be a good fight.

On a personal note, after talking to andy i have to say that he is a very down to earth and pleasent guy as were all of Team Murray over the weekend.

That was a bit of a shock for Taggart though and he had started the fight with so much venom and explosiveness.

I have a few good guys, Murray is the top prospect I have on my books although I'm in the process of signing a few other undefeated up and coming boxers.

Ruben Groenewald is with me and boxing this Friday on the Sky show at York Hall (Romanov is top of the bill).

Murray is a natural lightweight so I would prefer for him to fight at that weight for now, so unless McKloskey can make 135lb the fight looks unlikely. I'd like to see Andrew in with Peter McDonagh although it looks unlikely as I don't think McDonagh is interested. Ridiculous situation really, hopefully the BUI will force the fight or force McDonagh to relinquish.

Whichever way it goes Andrew Murray is happy to fight McDonagh, Fagan, Gomez whoever...

I've got great faith in Murray, give him a couple more fights and he'll be a big draw in Ireland, if he stays active and doesn't get beating (it is a big ask) you never know a european title chance at the end of next year....

Get Murray in with Gomez - that would be a fan friendly fight (as long as the McDonagh 'scandal' hasnt put the RTE backers of Gomez!)

Mickey I bow to your superior knowledge of the noble art but I genuinely would say Fagan could KO Murray inside 3 rounds. I dont think that Murray has the tool to handle a Fagan onslaught. Mind you going by Fagans appearance in Dublin against Chill John and you could be right.

One thing you definately are wrong about is saying that Murray is above anything Fagan has faced - Jesus christ sure Murray has barey faced anyone with a positive record but Fagan's been in against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Verquan Kimbrough and PAUL SPADAFORA!!!!!

Well said. So, is this Mickey guy saying that Murray is better than Chavez Jr, Kimbrough and an unbeaten world champ in Spaddy? That's ridiculous. He's not fought anyone yet. I dont know who'd win between Fagan and Murray but lets be serious and say without doubt that Murray has never been in with anyone as tough as Fagan and is not likely to be in with anyone as tough as Fagan regardless of the result.

I know Sutherland was on the back of the indo today hoping to quailfy for the olympics but next world champ thats a really long shot even for such a talented boxer that he is. He's struggling to get in the olympics and had a few mental battles with darren o neill but i'd say he could end up european champ at some stage, maybe in three or fours years time, not world champ

I think he is dangerous, useful, crude, busy and limited - thats an honest assessment.

I think Fagan would be all over Murray like a suit from Ciro Cittario - I dont think that Murray could keep him back because his jab doesnt command respect and I think Fagan would overwhelm Murray.

Maybe the KO in 3 was an overestimation - but I could she it happening tbh - if not a clear UD.

Would you like to hazard a guess as to the outcome of a Murray v Fagan encounter.

To be honest mate i have not seen a great deal of Fagan apart from his fight with Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr but that was on a SKY undercard ages ago. He appears tough and willing to fight and forced a split against former world class Spadafora.

Murray i have seen on three occasions (twice live) and he is classy with a good boxing brain and recently has been sitting down on his punches and planting his feet. Hopefully Murray can get Gorman again next and either McDonagh/Fagan in the near future as well as he continues along the learning curve
