Nigel Benn who everybody acknowledges is/was a true warrior came back with a guy 7-9-1 after his 1st KO loss.
Is Lazcano any worse than Witters next opponent? .. a case could be made for Lazcana being a better opponent .. atleast he has fought at world class.
Bradley is an unbeaten former amateur star that thr trade and fighters in the states rate highly.
PLUS - he is the mandatory.
Lazcano is inactive and lost his lst fight..and a career lightweight.
AND COSTS £15.00

There's too many angles to look at all this Hatton v Witter stuff from. It can only be solved by them fighting.

Harris was lazy and coasting against Lazcano and was clearly better. BUT that was 15 months prior to this match and Lazcano is now 33 and hasnt fought in 15months. Lazcano also lost to Castillo
Lazcano isnt a bad fight as a warm up but its clear cherry picking.
Well put, Hatton needs a fight he can not only win but as a confidence booster after his first loss. Malignaggi didnt win well in his last outing so Hattons lot fancy their chances. Talking to Malignaggis people now before he even fights Lazcano and trying to arrange another fight with PBF is all clever stuff to shut Witter out. Hatton will probably retire a very rich man after a second loss to Mayweather and still claim he was the best and was unbeaten at 140.
Re: 'Bum' Lazcano nearly beat Harris, says a lot doesnt it??

So come on, which is it, is Harris overated by the Witter fans or is Lazcano being underated???
I dont class myself as being in the Junior Witter fan club. At one time I couldnt stand his arrogance. Lately he has been more reasonable, less flashy and no sign of the arrogance. I have therefore warmed to him which doesnt mean I have become a fan overnight. As you well know if Hatton and Witter both fight the same fighter and Hatton wins on points and Witter wins KO3 that doesnt mean Witter is the better fighter. Many factors have to be considered. Both fighters are excellant and hold the top two positions in the rankings therefore there has to be the play off to see who is best. Witter wants it and says he will do it for free if Hatton insists he wont give Witter the payday. Witter wants to prove he is worthy of the top spot and I respect him for that. Hatton is frightened shitless and wont take the risk of being beaten by a fellow Brit. Being second in the World be bad enough but second in Britain would be a nightmare for Hatton. I was a Hatton fan but his refusal to fight Witter with all the excuses he can dream up has definately put me off him.

Witter holds the WBC title. Hatton has never won a WBC belt - indeed, in his only try he was knocked out and outclassed.
(Witter's words. I thought it was quite amusing. Still I'd like to see them fight but Witter can only fight who'll fight him)
BTW, who
the
heck
put
Lazcano
in
The Ring (Golden Boy's)
Top 10!

Lazcano is Not a bad fighter, to but to say he is any kind of threat to Hatton is a complete Joke.
