Not the worst thing that could of happened to Crolla, he can learn from it.
See that he's not going to have it easy in the pro game.
I'm sure he'll be back ok, get a couple of wins, then a rematch with Youseff.

Maybe he slackened off mentally in training, thought he'd handled Youseff in sparring before, and the same would happen in a proper fight.

Bones reminds me of a little tale. The Kid I trained was Sparring with another World champ. I could see he was in 2nd gear and told him to up it a gear. He said Bollocks, He said down the line he might fancy the job itll be an easy nights work

Scrap - whilst I see your point you are getting at - Anthony should have dealt with Youssef regardless of whether one was putting effort into the sparring or not!!!

Farnell will sort out Crolla - I have no doubts about that - if not - Crolla will have to face up to the facts he is not good enough - and to be honest I value Farnell's opinion that with Crolla it was simply a bad night at the office - a couple of training methods will be sorted and Crolla will be back on track.

Arnie seemed to go over and put his hands out to ask why he'd given Youseff the decision. The next second he went over and congratulated the other corner, so it didn't seem like he was being a sore loser.

Crolla will come back. He looked woeful, had no snap in his punches. Clueless, nothing like his previous fights.

Hope so Spud, Seems a nice kid, but youre only as good as the other guy will let you be, truth.

Didn't see the whole fight, but he seemed to be hurt in the fourth round and was hurt again by a body shot in the final round. Was he weight drained? Chris Aston claimed he was dead at the weight in between the rounds to his fighter.

I think Crolla started to feel abit sorry for himself after the 5th round, as if he was thinking 'shit this isn't supposed to happen', he then couldn't get himself to box to orders from his corner.

But i still say this fight will bring him on, nothing wrong with a loss early on , its how he reacts to it.

as the saying goes , a winner shows some of his character, a loser shows all of his character.

Yeah too right, hope you take my worldly advice and pull your bloody socks up lads....

Crolla's a good prospect, he did look dishearted but his attitude up to that point had been spot-on.

He has a lot of ability, here's hoping he comes back stronger.
