Thats the sad reality.

I watched the "Little Prince, Big Fight" documentary recently and Eubank visits Naz's training camp and they get on OK...
Yeah they made up, though that documentary is years old.

As for the question of why people are fascinated by Naz...from my point of view he was the most exciting fighter Ive ever seen. He was PURE entertainment. At the time he had his haters, just as eubank did, but he was amazing to watch - some fans dont like show boating, I love it. His ring entrances, his acrobatics both before and during fights, his terrible but hilarious pre and post fight speeches :-) (remember him telling Kelley how he was goin to knock him spark out and how he was so gunna enjoy beating him up! Hilarious to hear cocky Yorkshire Hamed mocking Kelley with a pretty basic kid like banter) Then of course, you had his skills and amazing power. His unorthodux style brought about unprecitability and entertainment.

One of my all time favourite fighters

It is difficult for me to pass judgement between these two beacuse they were both greats in my eyes.
However, regarding the Herol comeback fights, no one has mentioned the medical situation.
As I understood it, Herol was advised not to make his comeback, and Ingle accepted that advice, and said he would not train him - and I truly believe Brendan had his best interests at heart.
He went with Glyn Rhodes for a spell, and ok he had a smattering of success with that comeback.
Being brutal, and that's how the record books deal with it, Naz is ahead of Herol, but my God, what an entertainer Herol was - a magician in the ring but as with many of the Ingle fighters, that edge of fragility in defence.
In the end - that's how it turned out with Naz when he met Berrera.
I would give anything for the UK to have a couple of talents like these guys around right now.
Great days following them around.

Yeah, think of all the quality British fighters we've had since 1990 - Naz, Bomber, Lennox, Calzaghe, Benn, Watson, Hatton, Haye.

no disrespect to EUBANKS...I had the grateful(paid) opportunity to spar eubanks b4 one of his major title fights and to be fair...he isnt a good spar in that he was easy..sent home early,, too much movement...but an its a big but.....he uses sparring to perfect certain parts of his strategy...he just moves towards fight night an gets it right on the night... quote; i need thumone i can hit....ps .still got paid in full...cheers fwank.... :TU:

hamed best years were too short and his demise too quick and embarrassing and un-champ like for me to consider him anywhere near our greatest p4p in 100 years. its a matter of tast but i really disliked his pre-fight/post-fight antics. how noticably absent they were in the barrera match up

Hamed won the title in 1995 and didn't lose to Barrera until 2001. That's a decent run IMO. Consider that Tyson's prime was 86-89. I agree about his demise, but he did achieve a great deal, albeit not his full potential.
