macdoughnut v rogan is a better call.
beat me to it Rhino - I was about to post the exact same post - almost word for word.

McDermott is a fat eff - I'm sure he's a nice guy but his condition is a effing disgrace to boxing.

McDermott would have his whole handed to him by Williams

McDermott v Rogan would be a good testing fight to find the true level of both fighters
You 2 aint got a clue...

Seems like you dont watch boxing and only go by records...

Rhino,

Whilst Pele Reid was not completely out of it - I cannot argue with the decision - them big lads can hit f*cking hard - the only thing I question is if Reid managed to survive how long John McD would have been able to sustain his onslaught - then things might have got interesting.

Its not the worst stoppage I have seen.
Spud should know, according to DG he was laid out by Paul King :TU:

John Mcdermott

I agree with TT you lot obviously dont know your facts. Anyone who watched the Krence fight could see Big John won that fight by a mile.... Even Krence would admit that. The skelton fight....yes embarrasing but you could see Mcdermott wasnt even rocked...not like Pele Reid the other night. How can you say that was stoped too early, Pele Reid was completely gone there was know point letting the fight continue. Mcdermott needs this fight against Danny...I think he will show his potential! John has the skills and intelligence in the ring as you said its down to self belief and confidence! Rhino you a prat!

McDermott looked miserable against Paul King don't forget, it was not exactly inspiring.

And now he has a shot at Williams for the British Title... A fit Danny Williams will beat him well IMO.

Some people just have a physique that can't shift bodyfat, no matter how hard you try. I think J McD is one of those people.

Williams might be a bit of a step up for him, although they have sparred many rounds together.

It'll be interesting to see how Danny gets on on May 30. He has a tough one I believe.

Realistically, if Williams takes the Fight seriously, and trains hard, Williams wins easily

Bollacks in my ill-informed opinion.

It'll be his glands next.
