Got the old progs out, and it came flooding back !
It was in 1994, at the Ponds Forge.
You've gotta say to beat Belcastro was one hell of an achievement.
He had him down in the first and the eleventh.
Strange isn't it how other minor fighs also come back to memory when you look back ?
Clifton Mitchell TKO'd his oppo in the first - now he TKO's punters doing the security !!!!
Also remember Steve Collins beating Chris Pyatt that night.
Anyway, whilst he's never been one of my fav fighters, I think it's totally unfair not to mention Stracey against Napoles in Mexico.
He was down in the first, then totally dominated to win in the sixth.
That took some bollocks, I have to say.
