Incidentally, Cortez sucks - he might as well change his catchphrase to "I'm firm (unless you're fighting a Yank) but I'm (overly) fair (to your opponent)".

Hatton was the fighter who signed with GBP... Hatton was the fighter the promoter publically declared who he wanted and expected to win. Hatton was the one who DLH wanted to fight.
