That was his 3rd pro fight, and he was around 19. I don't care if you watch it or not, but I think it's naive to dismiss Dlamini without seeing what he's like. Now on the flip side, I do understand that it would also be naive to think that he's going to be great. He was hand picked by allegedly allegedly after all.

I agree. Derry Matthews probably thought the same thing a few weeks ago and look what happened.

People bash it because if it is true then it is a step backwards.

We can't just let it ride, because we havent heard of him and there is a 1 in a 100 chance he could be azumah nelson in the making - Furthermore we know quite well Frank won't be making any match of that type.

People slate Calzaghe's and Hatton's fight's over the years, well Khan is going the exact same route.

One thing i like about Khan is he wants a Title shot NOW, not pad his career up.

BUT, if he wants 1 moe fight before a title shot, it has to be BIG, a real threat of an opponent

Imagine if they got Erik Morales or Marco Antonio Barrera.

I'd pay to watch that.

I think the problem is m8, that we'd like Khan to fight someone who can be used as a measuring stick as to how good he really is, someone like Armando Santa Cruz. The problem with this guy is that yes, since he's undefeated he could turn out to be a good fighter and prove a good test BUT on the other hand since he hasnt fought anyone of note he could equally be really poor, like Samuel Kebede - the undefeated African who was woeful in a challenge for Scott Harrison's WBO belt. And a quick look at the records shows he's not even the best lightweight prospect in South Africa - that would be this guy:

The other thing you have to take in account is Sports Network's history of matchmaking. I know without seeing Dlamini fight that he's not going to be some wrecking machine, because if he was Fwank wouldn't have selected him as Khan's next opponant. Fact!
