I appriciate that but I think the way that Haye came back from a loss showed a lot.

Interestingly I think a lot of the regard Calzaghe is held in as a trainer and the questions around Booth come back to luddite tendencys amongst many in boxing... Haye's new message based on weights and more scisentific methods I suspect are the way of things to come.

I don't mind certain practices in terms of fitness. At the end of the day, skill pays the bills.

When Haye lost to Thompson did the fans partly blame Booth's lack of experience as a trainer to take Haye to world level?

Booth seems more like an opportunist and a personal trainer, would he commit to any other fighter except Haye if they didn't go to world level?

After Big Mac and Rees were sparked and even Joe was made to look very, very beatable by Old Man Hopkins, Enzo Calzaghe's "trainer of the year" BS is like a pervert in a raincoat in front of a school bus.... exposed!

Your favourite Light Heavy's would of looked bad against that version of Hopkins too, Hopkins Is hardly being criticised for his digusting amount of holding and fouling.

Mac and Rees lost but Enzo made them better fighters and I doubt other trainers could Improve them.

A few things cost Macca that fight, the most significant one was the fact that Haye was a completely different class of fighter.

I've spoken to Booth at a show, and I didn't think he was very knowledgeable at all. I don't care what David Haye has done...I get the feeling Haye is fighting from pure talent anyway. Booth is just a mentor and friend.

As with most fighters the matchmaking has improved, therefore the fighter looks as though he has.

So you think if he'd only stuck with Bums like John Mark Mormeck and Enzo Macaranelli rather than fighting Carl Thompson he'd have been fine

Mormecks been gone the last four years, the Enzo fight surprised me but one swallow etc.

Get a grip mate, he's beaten O'neil Bell, and a much better version of Wayne Braithwaite than Calzaghe in that time, Haye beat the man at the weight who was certainly better than Carl the Cat!

It wasn't just a shock he anialated Macaranelli, he has also beaten Gurov and Fragomeni, those are both good fighters who opperate at a level close to world class.

Fragomeni is not very good very poor movement. Gurov been gone ten years since one of mine did him in 6 secs, Ive got a grip.

So Dunston ko'd Gurov in 6 seconds? You sounds like you don't like Haye Mr Scrap, but hes looking for the best fights and thats what counts

Any opponent can be put up to scruteny on there movement etc however I think Haye's record shows that he has been matched harder than Thompson since that fight and has improved since aswell.

Haye took Frago's unbeaten record and maybe Frago hasn't been the same since. The Italian fought a very good fight that night but has been lethargic since.

Gurov did get sparked by Dunstan but he had extended Mormeck and was considered one of the ten best cruisers in the world. He was ahead vs Mormeck, badly hurt Mormeck with a body shot but got ground down.

Scrap makes a fair point and the chasing of Wladimir is also very clever... yes he is number one but he is also an accident waiting to happen. ... as many have already pointed out.

maybe a coincidence but Wlad fits the mold of fighters Haye has a good chance against (tall, upright and suspect chin).

Someone like an inshape McCall for example would be a nightmare for Haye as he would be there for 12 rounds and can carry his power to the end (as Akinwande found out)
