Not a bad fight for Khan at this stage. Not many prospects from these shores face a fighter straight out of a world title reign, albeit a very short one

Kotelnik beat him easily and Rees could be damaged from that 1. They may also make Ress fight at 135 weakening him.

However Rees probably hits harder than any of Khans opponents and is near prime, very busy and fast

The fight would definitely be at 135. Rees said after the Kotelnik fight he is going back down to lightweight anyway.

Khan would comfortably beat Rees. No challenge, imo.

It is not Gavin Rees no point discussing him.

Whoever it is - lets hope the miracle happens and he puts an end to Team Khan - it would be f*cking hilarious and justice!!!

Limond. Would have suggested Arthur if we were a few months later and AAA had been befuddled and beaten up by Guzman and unable to make 130 anymore

Observer young man,

I want to see Amir Khan fail - I would find it hilarious and justice if it happens because quite simply in my humble opinion he and his team have got too big for their boots - in addition the arrogance again in my opinion shown by all of Team Khan surpasses anything I have seen thus far with any other boxer and his team.

Finally I regard Oliver Harrison as a pal - I know a little of what has gone on and I really do not give a toss whether I am in the minority or not it really is not nice when this happens in boxing - quite simply Team Khan again in my opinion have used Oliver Harrison as a door mat.

Observer & Hitman - Stop the sh*t I am entitled to my opinions - the opinions I have given on Amir Khan and his team are my honest ones - if yours and others differ then good luck to you - but for me I would really like to see Amir Khan fail so I and others can gloat.

There you go - over to you.

Tell me it is not Gomez .
Khan will stop Gomez like Graham Earl a complete mismatch and if the people behind Gomez put him in they need to have a look at themselves as all they are doing is risk getting him hurt for a few dollars more.
OK he may get a decent payday but this is not the Gomez that beat Arthur this is the Gomez that gave his all against Johannson and struggled against Youssef al hamidi who has a record of 4w -8l .
The board need to look at this as Gomez needs protecting as he is moving up from Super feather going in against a soon to be light welter.

.
Why not Gomez will at least pressure Khan for a few rounds and bring a punch. Since when has Khan been damaging opponents? Gomez will get a nice retirement package from the fight

I am with you on this TJay - Gomez is too slow, too small and too far past his best to give Khan any sort of challenge.

It would be a short fight and would end with a bemused and bruised Gomez getting led back to his corner after being overwhelmed by fast, accurate, multi punch combinations.

Yet more cynical and uncompetitive matchmaking from SN for their Golden Boy.

From a world title eliminator to Gomez?

A big backward step in my opinion, and then fighting Rees later on in the year?

Farce.

i aint giving you shi*t, i just asked why you wanted to see him fail

Was just curious since you wanted him to succeed a short white back since he was a British Fighter with lots of Talent.

Anyway, stuff like this happens in Boxing all the time, whether its good or bad, its debatable, but saying he is getting to big for his boots is BS. You dont See Khan going around claiming to be the Best calling out Belt Holders saying their worthless Bums etc.

If that is the case, you must really despise Haye

Read the article again!!! it does not "Definitely" say it is Rees !! merely says Rees is on the short list.

I have just consulted my crystal ball again - it was a bit cloudy - but the ball did not say it was him!!

Its - hang on a minute - f*cking ball has gone cloudy on me - Wait a minute its just clearing .....

Give you an example various papers are coming out with their headline - so when the name comes out on Tuesday - they can claim a scoop!!! - Murray, Gomez, Rees and Ricky Burns amongst many have been mentioned.

For instance here is another paper claiming they are in the know - question is - is this one f*cking right!!!

I have a feeling Mr W arren or people out there have been having some fun - all will then be revealed on Tuesday!!!!

Heres another one ....

Khans next fight ...
