It's a cack fight to be honest....we all know Gomez is shot.

With the current contractual issues, Warren is gonna have to give Khan what he wants pretty soon. He's right to be reluctant, because Khan isn't ready for world class level yet.

They should be looking at higher level domestic (maybe not so much at 9.9 but plenty of top domestic guys in the divisions above and below), or European opponents, to steady the progression from the likes of Kristjansen, to a so called 'world class' opponent (....then again, we were told repeatedly by the award winning ITV commentary team that Gary St Clair was world class)

What will Khan learn against Gomez?.....he'll stun him with the first decent shot he lands, and promptly take him out.

We/they recognise he's got to learn....so put him in some learning fights

.......This is our top prospect, yet i am becoming increasingly apathetic.

Come on, its a pre-sunshine fun-fight. Sometimes, we ought to remember this is entertainment not science.

Gomez will bring an element of risk and some fun to proceedings.

I'd have preferred Rees but hey-ho.

I suppose if Khan had done anything short of annihilate Rees he would have received less than favourable comparisons with Kotelnik and ppl might realise how far off being world class Amir really is at the moment.

Hardly, Kotelnik pushed Junior close. And Rees beat a legit belt holder for 12 rounds.

I think this allows Warren to keep on creating illusions. That's what the man does well.

Also, Rees would have been a much more tasty opponent if he had managed to keep his WBA 140-lb title. Now it's like, "Who is he" or "He won the title at the right time but isn't very good."

Yep, unless he has someone that really can fight.
