There is no excuse for a mismatch like that. Bennett is an "opponent" at best. You need boxers like him for early bouts on a card. To put him in against a fighter who not long ago won an elimination fight for the WBC Lightweight title, before that had been WBC Bantamweight and Super Featherweight champion and has only lost two fights in his career, both being world title
defences is unforgivable.
